For general questions about content, CE credits or other information about the Digital Summit, please SWHELPER at gswds2019@socialworkhelper.com. CEUS will be applied for from various boards after the speaker list has been solidified.

The Global Social Welfare Digital Summit 2019 will take place in “real time” live via the Global Social Welfare Digital Summit 2019 website. Registered participants will be able to access and attend the summit using a computer, tablet or mobile device with Internet access. You will not need to download anything in order to stream sessions on your device (see Technical Requirements).

2. Do I have to be a social worker to attend GSWDS2019?

No, this Summit is for all helping professions both domestic and abroad

3. Where will the Global Social Welfare Digital Summit take place?

This conference is a virtual conference which means it will take place online in “real time,” live through the Internet. As a result, you do not have to travel or get hotel accommodations. You can view the Summit from the comfort of your home if you choose too.

4. When Will I get access to the conference website?

As soon as you choose your ticket option, you will be directed to create your user account on the Summit’s website. Once you complete payment using PayPal you will have full access to the conference website. You will have access to presenter and the program agenda information as it is updated on the conference website.

5. What are the dates and times of GSWDS2019?

The Summit will begin on World Social Work Day March 19 -22, 2019 from 9:00AM (EST) to 5:00 PM (EST).

6. Will I receive written confirmation of my registration?

Yes. Registrants will receive an email confirmation shortly after submitting their registration.

7. What types of sessions are included?

The Summit will include plenary and concurrent sessions.

8. How will I receive my CE credit?

If you view a program live and in its entirety, you are entitled to receive CE credit and your certificate will indicate that CE was live. After the program is complete, return to the session page to access the program evaluation for the sessions or plenaries you viewed. You can earn a total of 10 CEUS for the entire conference. CEUS will be issued each day. Here is the total of CEUs you can earn each day: Day One-2 CEUS, Day Two-2 CEUS, Day Three-3 CEUS, and Day Four – 3 CEUS.

Will be seeking CEUS for Social Worker via National NASW, case managers, marriage and family counselors, and nursing boards.

9. Are there Pre-Summit activities?

No, However, registrants will have immediate access to the Summit’s website, and we encouraged you to log in and become familiar with the site, its features and meet and network with participants across the world.

10. Is registration required?

Yes. Please see the Registration page

11. What if I cannot attend all of the live Forum events? Will I be able to view the presentation(s) at another time?

Yes. All sessions will be recorded and available on-demand following the live event. However, sessions watched using the playback feature will not be eligible for CEUS.

12. When will I receive login/password information?

After you enter your account registration information, you will be directed to Paypal to complete your registration process. Then, you will have access to your account.

13. Will handouts be provided?

Plenary and breakout session PowerPoint slides, handouts, and any other presentation materials will be posted and available for participants to download two weeks prior to the live conference.

14. How far ahead of time should we log in to a session?

All sessions will begin on time. At the beginning of each day, we recommend that you log in at least 10-15 minutes prior to the start time to double check your connection and sound.

15. Can I participate if I live outside of the United States?

You can participate from anywhere that has access to an internet connection.

16. Ticket Refund Policy?

All sales are final and nontransferrable.
